The Corporation of the Seven Wardens has been looking at ways to celebrate the important milestone of 100 years since the first “Ritual of the Calling of an Engineer” (also known as the Obligation Ceremony) in 1925. The Corporation ran a poetry contest in both English and French. The goal was to commission winning poems that would be more inclusive of all the candidates participating in the modernized “Calling of an Engineer” being released for the centennial year.

Refer to their communiqué for details on the English and French winning poems.
